Helped the data reporting team create a dashboard on gun violence in the Baltimore area, which was The Banner's first interactive dashboard ever.

Directed the development of a vertical video carousel on the homepage. This has since been used many times, but perhaps the most crucial time was when we published short video explainers on a large-scale investigation into the overdose crisis in Baltimore in collaboration with The New York Times.

Assisted the data reporting team with our first-ever scrollytelling article.

Implemented multiple audience engagement features like breaking news alerts (during Baltimore's Key Bridge collapse) and audio narration in the app, which received positive feedback from our subscribers.
